You are updating Windows Vista to Windows 7. Microsoft tells you to delete Sony VAIO “Welcome Launcher”. How do you do this?
Remove “VAIO Startup Assistant” using “Programs and Features” from “Control Panel”. After uninstalling VAIO Startup Assistant, and rebooting your computer, Windows 7 should not report a compatibility issue. You should then be able to upgrade to Windows 7.
