Adobe Premiere giving you a problem? Some users report receivng the “System error occured while trying to rename the captured clip.” error message after completing a video capture and when prompted to save and name the file. The video clip then gets stored in the input folder as a temporary clip.

To clear this error message, you can delete your temp files in C:\Windows\Temp and any temp files located in the Adobe Premiere programs folder. If this doesn’t fix the problem then you can try reinstalling Adobe Premiere 6.5 by removing it via Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel then reinstalling it from your paid installation media. You can also try manually removing Premiere via the tutorial at the following Adobe article in case after removing it via Control Panel and then reinstalling it, the problem is not corrected.
